Foundation to Mark 10th Anniversary of Czechoslovakian Republic (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

On the occasion of the forthcoming tenth anniversary of the Republic of Czechoslovakia, Jewish leaders plan the creation of a fund in honor of President Masaryk.

The fund is to be known as the Masaryk Foundation and its proceeds are to be used to assist talented Jewish students to pursue their studies.

In connection with the forthcoming elections to provincial diets and district councils, the Jewish Party consisting of all Jewish groups in Slovakia and Carpatho-Russia, decided to go to the polls as an independent party.

Extensive preparations are being made here by leaders of the Jewish community to take a prominent part in the celebration of the Republic’s tenth anniversary.
