The Rabbinate of Warsaw directed a request to the dean of the Warsaw Technical Institute to postpone the examinations set for September 15.
This date coincides with the first day of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and the rabbis asked that the date be changed in order that Jewish students may be enabled to take the examination without violating the holy day.
