Pastors Protest Collections for Missionary Work

A protest against the recommendation of the Prussian General Church Synod to arrange Sunday collections for the Jewish missions, was published by a group of Prussian pastors.

The pastors also object to the order of the Synod that the prayer for the success of the missionary work among Jews be made compulsory.

Heads of commercial enterprises established in New York a hundred years or more ago organized the One Hundred Year Club of New York at a dinner in the Hotel Plaza Thursday.

The founder is Isaac Liberman, President of Arnold, Constable & Co.

Dr. Louis J. Kapald was installed as Rabbi of the North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe, 111. on Friday. Among the speakers at the installation ceremony was Dr. Stephen S. Wise.

Harry N. Gottlieb, president of the North Shore Congregation, gave the address of wellome on behalf of the members of the synagogue.
