Many Jewish owners and clerks of pharmacies have been adversely affected by the pharmacist law recently passed by parliament. It is even asserted that the law is directly aimed at the Jewish pharmacists.

In an open letter to Khemal Pasha, published in several Turkish newspapers. one of the Jewish pharmacists draws the attention of the Angora government to the irregularities committed by he authorities to the detriment of thousands of Jewish families in the enforcement of this law.
