Mandates System Satisfactory Sixth Cmission Reports to League Assembly

The Mandates system evolved by the League Covenant for the administration of under developed territories under the guidance of world powers who are interested with the administration of these territories as a “Trust,” works satisfactorily, according to the report submitted to the League of Nations Assembly by the Sixth Commission.

The Commission expressed satisfaction with the general mandates system. It noted the interest displayed by the public in the affairs of the mandated territories. The A and B categories of he mandated territories are to undergo a regime of complete economic equality, the report emphasizes. The Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations is urged in the report to furnish further detailed information concerning the administrations of these territories, so that their problems and difficulties may beloved. With the help of the respective governments, it is hoped that a perfect organization of the mandates system will be completed the Sixth Commission declares.
