Accurate information concerning the number of intermarriages and baptisms among German Jews will be available in the future.

At a meeting of the Berlin Kehillah held Thursday a sum was voted for the establishment of a Kehillah Department of Jewish Vital Statistics, with a special view of combating intermarriage and baptism.

The Council also voted subventions to the Association for the Protection of the Schechita, the Association of Eastern Jews and to the Ort.
