The Lake of Tiberias will for the first time in the history of modern Palestine be the scene of a sporting fete in the early spring, according to plans formulated.
A review of the Jewish sport organization Maccabi in Syria, Palestine and Egypt, is being planned for the coming Passover. The boat races on the lake will be a feature of the program. The event is sponsored by Lord Melchett.
