Leaders of the Moslem agitation over the Western Wall issue were reassured by Acting High Commissioner H. C. Luke that the government of Palestine will do everything to observe what he termed the status quo of the Western Wall, now the object of controversy between the Jews and the Moslems.

This assurance was given by Mr. Luke Friday when a delegation representing the Moslem conference held in Jerusalem called on him to submit the resolutions adopted by the meeting.
