–A statement allaying the fears of Moslems in Palestin, instilled by anti-Jewish ## was issued today by the Zionist ##, denying in categorical terms that the Jewish people have any designs on the Moslem Holy Sites in the country.

“In view of the fact that the Jewish aspirations to secure conditions necessary for free, undisturbed worship at the Western Wall, have been misrepresented as involving Jewish designs to encroach upon the Haram (Wakf) area,” the statement declares, “we desire to reaffirm our declaration recognizing unreservedly the inviolability of the Moslem Holy Places.”

Similar statements reafirming the Jewish intentions at the Western Wall were sent by the Executive to the Palestine government and the anti-Zionist Arab Executive.
