Aaron Mazia, prominent physician and Hebrew linguist, was the guest of honor at a banquet tendered him on the occasion of his seventieth birthday. The event also marked the fortieth anniversary of Dr. Mazia’s scientific work.
Chaim Nachman Bialik, Miss Henrietta Szold, Dr. Joseph Klausner, Joseph Meyuchas were among the speakers who praised Dr. Mazia for his “contribution to the spiritual and physical health of the Palestine community.”
Dr. Mazia has prepared a medical lexicon in Hebrew, which the speakers urged him to complete and publish.
