That the Jewish Agency idea is two decades old is the statement made in answer to the “Jewish Daily Bulletin’s” inquiry on the Non-Zionist Conference.

RABBI HENRY COHEN, Galveston, Texas–“The Jewish Agency is a child of mine, if I may be allowed to say so. Two decades ago, realizing all Jewry’s responsibility in the matter I advocated some such organization privately and publicly. Its consummation so far is an earnest idea of of what might accrue as the years pass! All concerned as to be congratulated.”

RABBI RAPHAEL H. MELAMED, Congregation Bnai Israel, Elizabeth, N. J.–“The Non-Zionist Conference achieved the highest goal in creating unity in Israel both in America and the world over. It was distressing to note that the only bond of union in Israel hitherto known, was negative. It was either anti-Semitism, or the horrors of pogroms. Now we have a positive basis of unity, a common hope and a common ideal.”
