Resolutions endorsing the Jewish Agency extension plan were unanimously adopted at the conference of Western Massachusetts Zionist and United Palestine Appeal workers held at the Hotel Kimball. Mrs. Arhchibald Silverman of Providence, R. I., criticized Dr. Stephen S. Wise for his attitude on the Jewish Agency, saying that he was making a "football out of Zionism."

Representatives of Hadassah, Junior Hadassah, Zionist districts and other Jewish organizations took part.

The conference adopted $30,000 as the quota for Western Massachusetts’ share for the United Palestine Appeal. Nathan E. Goldstein was reelected chairman of the Western Massachusetts drive and Harry E. Ehrlich chairman of the Springfield drive for U. P. A.
