Guggenheim Brothers Increase Gift to Hebrew Union College to $500,000

A gift of $500,000 from the Guggenheim family in New York City brought the Hebrew Union College $5,000,000 Endowment Fund to the $2,800,000 mark. The announcement of the gift was made by Dr. Julian Morgenstern, president of the College. The brothers, Daniel, Murry, Solomon R. and former United States Senator Simon Guggenheim, have increased their previous contribution of $150,000 to $500,000, Dr. Morgenstern announced.

Adolph S. Ochs is chairman of the Endowment Fund campaign.
