Judge Wicrzkowski of the Municipal Court at Baranawicze was reprimanded and dismissed from his post by an order of the Ministry of Justice for rendering a verdict based on anti-Jewish prejudice.

The judge was called upon to decide in a conflict between two diligence drivers, one a Christian, the other a Jew. The judge rendered judgment in favor of the Christian, giving his reason that “Jews always harm the Christians.” The matter was brought to the attention of the Jewish National Council of Warsaw, which complained to the Ministry of Justice.
