Hungary Appoints Jew to the Hague Court

Professor Ferdinand Baumgarten, well known Hungarian Jewish jurist, was appointed by the Hungarian government as its representative to The Hague court of arbitration for a period of six years.

Hungarian Jews welcomed the announcement with pride. Professor Baumgarten is a retired judge of the Hungarian Administrative Supreme Court.
