The New York State Conference of the National Council of Jewish Women concluded its annual sessions Monday night with a banquet at the Hotel McAlpin. Delegates from twenty-three cities in the state participated in the sessions held in the Hotel Astor. Round table discussions on religion, religious schools, immigrant aid, peace, and legislation occupied the delegates. Mrs. Leo Sulzberger led the discussion on immigrant aid and education.
Mrs. Adolph Rubin of Richmond Hill, Long Island, was elected second vice-president, a newly-created office. The conference unanimously elected as honorary vice-presidents, Mrs. Celia Sporborg of Albany, and Miss Sara Schottenfels.
Mrs. Hannah G. Solomon of Chicago, honorary president of the National Council of Jewish Women and founder of the organization, was the principal speaker at the banquet.
