April 10 was designated as a fast day by the Warsaw Rabbinate to invoke heavenly mercy.
The cause for the fast was declared to be the death of four prominent members of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw Kehillah which occurred within a short period. The members who died were Rosenbaum, Rosenfeld, Katzenelbogen and Michalewicz.
The Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. in Philadelphia is holding an exhibition of the works of Frank Horowitz. This consists of seventy-one paintings and sketches of scenes in the Russian Jewish colonies to which Mr. Horowitz was sent last Summer by the Joint Distribution Committee of the Agro-Joint.
