The Lemberg profanation libel, disproven and discredited by the authorities, has offered a new pretext for the national democratic press to renew its agitation for an anti-Jewish boycott in the economic field.

The party organs here gave wide publicity to a resolution adopted at a meeting of the Christian Working Youth Association, which voiced “a protest against the perfidious Jewish provocation against the Catholic religion.” and sounded a warning to the Jewish population not to “attempt further provocation of the religious feelings of the Polish Catholics.”

The resolution urged “the entire people to abstain from making purchases from Jewish merchants, giving preference to Christian manufacturers and traders.”
