Dr. Berthold Freudenthal, professor of jurisprudence at the University here, died today at the age of 57. He was widely known as a champion of radical reforms in German criminal law.
The late Dr. Freudenthal was a son of Jacob Freudenthal, philosopher and teacher, who held professorial posts at the University of Breslau and the Rabbinical Seminary there.
