The Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, in session since July 1, concluded its sessions here yesterday. No official report concerning its decisions is as yet available, but the correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns that the petitions submitted to the League body by the Vaad Ha’Ir, the Jerusalem Jewish Committee, and the Orthodox Agudath Israel, were not considered, due probably to the fact that the petitioners informed the Commission that they would submit new documents, which failed to arrive in time.
Concerning the Arab petition and the controversy over the Wailing Wall, it is stated the Commission decided to reiterate its views formulated at a previous session.
