Funeral services for the late Yechiel Goldsmith, Jewish actor who died on Sunday, were held Tuesday. Mr. Goldsmith, who was 40 years old, was stricken with spinal meningitis a week ago.
He was born in Ivia, District of Vilna. He came to the United States at the age of 9 and embarked upon his career as an actor when he was 18.
