Serious anti-Jewish excesses which continued in the Lithuanian capital for two days had their culmination Friday night at Slobodka, a Kovno suburb, reports received here from Kovno state.

Armed Fascists invaded Jewish homes, mistreating the inhabitants, beating them murderously. The police are said to have aided the Fascists. Leaders of the Jewish community sought the intervention of the higher authorities in their anxiety to stop the outrage but were not given a hearing.
