The death of Chaya Lipshitz, 25-year-old Communist of Kishineff, who died in the Clausenberg jail last week after a hunger strike of 42 days, has aroused Communists here. The Soviet press here proclaims her “the second victim of the Roumanian White Terror,” the first being Max Goldstein, who died in 1924 after a hunger strike of 62 days.

The Soviet press urges a workers’ protest in connection with the death of Chaya Lipshitz.
