Louis Marshall rested well today. His physician is satisfied with his progress but the crisis will be over in six or seven days. The operation, which succeeded well, took place with the assistance of Professor Victor Schmieden, Professor Loefiler of Zurich and Professor Emanuel Libman.

Mr. Marshall’s full convalescence will require several weeks. Mrs. Rosenberg of Philadelphia, sister of Mr. Marshall; Jacob Billikopf, son-in-law, and Dr. Judah L. Magnes, his brother-in-law, are with him.
