A mass meeting was held this afternoon at White-chapel attended by thousands of Jewish workers who left their work for half a day in order to express their protest and indignation at the Palestine outrages. Councilor Davis presided. Among the speakers were S. Kaplansky and Dov Hos, Palestine labor leaders, Prof. Cohen of Cambridge, John Scurr, M. P., and a number of representatives of Jewish trade unions. A resolution of protest was adopted against the Palestine administration. The British government was urged to recall and punish those officials who neglected their duty to preserve order.
