“The revolt of the Arabs against Zionism is in reality a revolt against economic and political serfdom, to which they have been reduced by British imperialism in Palestine.” This statement was made by the Communist League Against Imperialism in a manifesto it issued. J. Maxton, M. P., is president of the League.

“The lackeys of imperialism, the Zionists, received the whole-hearted support of the social democratic parties, the Second International and especially members of the British Labor Party. The Zionists have been the most bitter enemies of the Arab national revolutionary movement,” the manifesto declares.

The League has been denounced by the International Federation of Trade Unions as a Communist agency and its finances are believed to be derived from the Communist International.
