A capacity audience, composed of Jews and non-Jews, at Ivanhoe Temple, heard the arraignments of Rabbi Solomon Goldman of Chicago, Dr. Persell, representing the Catholic Bishop, and Dr. Deer of the Council of Protestant Churches, Dr. Rabelsky, Rabbi G. Hadas, Rabbi Mayerberg and Rabbi Mayer. Dr. Abi Miller presided. Three thousand dollars for the Palestine Emergency Fund was raised. A campaign for additional funds for the victims is now under way under the chairmanship of E. S. Michelson.
