New British Constables Arrive; Campbell Returns

Major Campbell, District Commissioner of Southern Palestine, returned today from leave. Major Campbell is considered a firm and capable administrator and has been repeatedly mentioned for the post of Chief Secretary of the Palestine government.

One hundred new British constables, the majority of whom are former guardsmen have arrived in Palestine and taken up their duties.
