The battle outside this town resulted in more rebels being killed, including Abu Elaziz, son of Faisal Dawish. The rebels fled to El Sabachia. sixty miles from Kuweit, but the Emir of Kuweit warned the insurgents not to expect hospitality in his domain.
Faisal Dawish, hearing of the death of his son, announced he will continue the war against Ibn Saud until the last moment, hoping to mobilize sufficient Akhwan tribesmen to defy Ibn Saud’s regulars, the report states.
