At a meeting held here last night, the Vaad Leumi, the National Council of Palestine Jews, decided to strengthen its Executive Committee by drafting into the work, Pincus Ruttenberg, head of the Palestine Electric Works; Meyer Dizengoff, Mayor of Tel Aviv; and Mr. Dutkowsky of the colony Hedera, as the farmers’ spokesman.

The Palestine press welcomes the entrance of Mr. Ruttenberg into the National Council, pointing out that since he settled in Palestine, he has kept aloof from public matters. Much is expected of his leadership.
