The court of Appeals here today pronounced as a strictly ecclesiastical question the four-year court controversy between Orthodox and Conservative groups of the Cleveland Jewish Center and dismissed the suit of the Center’s Orthodox minority group which sought the court’s aid to re-establish Orthodox Judaism in the Center.

Appellate Judge John J. Sullivan, who wrote the opinion, was unanimously affirmed by his two associates.
