Egyptian Jewry, continuously split on internal matters, and which previously has not participated in the Palestine upbuilding work, was brought together by the tragedy in Palestine.
An emergency committee today issued a proclamation to Egyptian Jewry, urging them to participate in a fund being raised to assist the Palestine upbuilding, together with all Israel. The proclamation was signed by representatives of the Sephardic, Ashkenazic and Karaite communities.
