Because of Yom Kippur, the older colonists in the region around Kalinindorf were absent from the ceremonies inaugurating a giant tractor station for the Jewish collectives.

The station with 200 tractors to serve the Jewish collectives was opened in Kalinindorf on Monday, in connection with the observance throughout the country of Collectivization Day.

Only the representatives of the Jewish Comsomols, Communist youth organizations, came from neighboring colonies to be present at the inauguration ceremonies.
