The entire estate left by Harold Wiener, British barrister who was killed during the first days of the Palestine riots, was bequeathed to the Spanish and Portugese Jews’ Congregation of London, according to his will which has just been probated. Property owned by the late Mr. Wiener in England, amounts to over £25,000, in addition to which he had a large estate in Palestine.
Previous reports that Mr. Wiener, who was known as a friend of the Arabs, had left £10,000 for Arab institutions were without foundation.
