The predicition that the condemned Arabs would hold their leaders responsible for their plight is proving true in Safed, where the families of the three Arabs, Ahmed Jabour and the Raneim brothers, the first sentenced to death for crimes during the outbreak, surrounded the house of the Mufti of Safed. Piercing cries against the Mufti were heard all night long.
