The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies are in line to receive a $2,000,000 bequest from the $5,000,000 estate of Irving I. Bloomingdale, Vice-President of Bloomingdale Brothers, who died last week from injuries received in an automobile accident in London.

A life income in $2,000,000 is left to a son, Donald. If on his death he leaves no issue the $2,000,000 passes to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. The Cathedral is asked to expend $150,000 of its share for the erection of a “Bloomingdale Memorial,” and the balance for the aid of “respected, earnest, formerly active and independent and then deserving, indigent and old men and women and orphans.”
