Siegfried Aron, prominent Berlin notary and his wife, committed suicide here. Aron, who was once very wealthy, had lost his entire fortune during the inflation period. Some time ago he defrauded a philanthropic institution of 500,000 marks which was destined for the care of orphans, whereupon he fied.
