Calling on the Jews of the world, non-Zionists as well as Zionists, to unite themselves into a more inclusive but yet compact and complete organization, and to awake and acquaint themselves with the many problems which have to be faced as world Jewry attempts to iron out the difficulties now existing in Palestine as the result of the Arab outrages and wholesale slaughterings, Louis Lipsky, national president of the Zionist Organization of America, spoke before a crowd of 1,000 people from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio, in the Morris Kaufmann Memorial auditorium of the local Young Men’s and Women’s Hebrew Association here Sunday evening, climaxing the third annual Zionist regional conference.

The opening session of the Conference was presided over by Dr. M. B. Lichtenstein, regional president, who was re-elected to serve for the next year at a closing session in the afternoon. Others chosen are: I. Safyan, Pittsburgh; Sam Rosen, Oil City; Armand Friedman, McKeesport, and Abe Cohen, Uniontown, vice-presidents; Rev. M. Gunsberg, Pittsburgh, secretary; Max Azen, Pittsburgh, treasurer.
