The Arab general strike continues in Jaffa, as a protest against the arrest of eight Arabs as boycott agitators. Agroup of several hundred Arabs yesterday stormed the Government offices, demanding the release of the arrested. The crowd was dispersed by British police.

The situation in Jaffa is strained, and aeroplanes and armored cars are cruising in the city.

An Arab delegation is proceeding to Jerusalem to interview Sir John Chancellor. High Commissioner of Palestine.

It is believed that the Arab who was fired upon near Ramich and seriously wounded Sunday night, was attacked in the mistaken assumption that he was a Jew.
