For participating in the Siyum Hatorah, the ceremonies accompanying the completion of a Torah, at the Minsk synagogue, a number of Jewish building workers have been expelled from the professional union. The expulsion follows the campaign of the Yiddish Communist organ “Oktiabre” to that end.
