Col. Jonas Rosenthal of this city has been appointed supervisor of the 1930 Federal census for Central Louisiana by President Hoover. Col. Rosenthal, an octogenarian, is active in all Jewish and civic affairs here. He is a brother of Prof Georges Rosenthal, of the University of Paris, noted physician.
