There were over eight hundred physicians and their guests present at a dinner of the Eastern Medical Society Sunday night at the Hotel Roosevelt to celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Society.

Dr. Nathan Ratnoff, founder and chairman of the Physicians’ Loan and Relief Fund, was presented with a medal as a token of the appreciation of the Eastern Medical Society for the unique character of his social welfare service among physicians, and for his striking success in making the Fund large enough to be of material aid to the many New York physicians in need, who have already called upon it.
