The “Dimineatza,” one of the leading Roumanian newspapers, has attacked the Minister of the Interior for stopping the play at the National Theatre upon the request of a student delegation. The paper says that things have come to such a pass that the students demand and the government adheres.

Last week anti-Semitic students invaded the National Theatre and interrupted the performance of ‘The Awakening of Love,” as a protest against the Jewish leading lady. The French ambassador, who was present, left the theatre in protest at the action of the students.
