Allot $30,000 in Loans to Shopkeepers of Safed

Some $30,000 of the Palestine Emergency Relief Funds have been allocated as loans to the shopkeepers of Safed, Col. Frederick kisch and Dr. Maurice Hexter, two members of the triumvirate entrusted with the distribution of the fund, informed a deputation of Safed business men during their tour of Safed. Col. Kisch and Dr. Hexter were joined in Safed by Sigfried Hoofien and Charles Passman where they deliberated on the entire reconstruction problem in Safed, in which an effort will be made to get the government to participate.
