A split has been revealed in the ranks of the Syria-Palestine Committee. It is learned that a part of the Committee, headed by Mesim Sebba and Mohamed Ali Taher, supporters of the Grand Mufti, are accusing Dr. Shanbandhar and his associates of treachery and of carrying on certain activities for their own benefit. The supporters of Dr. Shanbandhar emphasize the insignificance of the Mufti and deny that the Arab people support him.

A benefit ball for the Arab victims of the Palestine riots, in which some of the most prominent Arabs were to participate, has been cancelled as a result of the quarrel between the two factions.
