Rabbi Louis I. Newman, of Temple Emanuel, San Francisco, gave the opening prayer at the session of the House of Representatives, yesterday. Rabbi Newman was invited to deliver the prayer by the Chaplains’ Association and the Jewish Institute of Religion.
