General Nobile, commander of the ill-fated Norge expedition to the Arctic, and the brother of Prof. Aldo Pontremoli, the Italian-Jewish scientist who was lost when the Norge was wrecked, arrived in Vienna today. Both thanked Dr. Behounek, the Czech radiologist, who was also a member of the expedition, for perpetuating Professor Pontremoli’s name in working out his scientic material. In Dr. Behounek’s lectures it was revealed that Professor Pontremoli’s mother had offered all her personal fortune to save the North Pole expedition.
