“El Jamal Arabia,” the organ of the Moslem Supreme Council, complains that the streets of Jaffa are electrically lighted despite the municipality’s resolution to substitute lux lamps in pursuance with the boycott against the Rutenberg electric plant. It is understood, however, that Jaffa does not intend to carry out the resolution, owing to the excessive cost of lux lamps and especially since the municipal revenue has been greatly reduced on account of the removal of many Jews from Jaffa.
