Would Confiscate Immigrant Jews’ Property to Pay Deficit

The property of East European Jews who immigrated to Germany and became rich should be confiscated to cover the state deficit instead of providing for emergency subscriptions, suggested Deputy Geisler, a Nationalist member of the Prussian Landtag. Geisler, who is a friend of Dr. Alfred Hugenberg, leader of the Nationalist Party and German newspaper magnate, has asked that the Prussian government submit his proposal to the central government.
