Soviets Liquidate Jewish Relief Society in Leningrad

The Jewish relief society, Yekopo, established in Leningrad in 1914, has been liquidated by the local authorities. The society maintained a kitchen that served kosher food to poor Jewish students, to the old peoples home and to a number of other institutions.
